The ladder is used to be a rope ladder for embarking lifeboats & rafts in emergency case.
It is also used crews to embark when anchoring. The length of the ladder is about 30M.

The s roper ladder is equipped in the embarking place of the life raft and boat, for pilots to board or leave the vessels. The lowest 4 steps are rubber plates with steel lining. The count down fifth plate is spreader step, and there are 8 steps between two neighboring spreader steps. The distance between 2 neighboring steps is about 333mm.
