Superior resistance to corrosion, no need for special care or maintenance; S136 is smelted by using vacuum degassing, so that the quality is more purified, the structure is even dense and the polish property is excellent; already pre-hardened and no need for further heat treatment, suitable for direct mold cutting.
Applications:
S136 is suitable for plastic molds, and has better antirust properties for the molds used under wet environment. It is mainly used for making of the high-quality transparent plastic moulds, like sunglasses and optical instruments.
Heat treatment standard:
(1) Annealing, 800 ~ 900 a slow cooling or about 750 a quick cooling;
(2) Quenching, 1050 ~ 1100 a cold oil;
(3) Tempering, 200 ~ 300 a rapid cooling
