The Deka SCR injector delivers Aqueous Urea Solution (AUS32, Adblue) into the diesel exhaust stream. Ammonia (NH3) is formed out of this solution by means of thermolysis and hydrolysis. Ammonia then serves as a reductant to minimize the NOx-emissions in a dedicated SCR catalyst.
