Zalawadi Goats

We are engaged in exporting distributing trading and supplying excellent quality Zalawadi Goats to our valuable clients. Coat is black and contains long coarse hair. Ears are long wide leaf-like and drooping; ear length: 19.0 A 0.20 cm. Both sexes have long twisted horns pointed upward; horn length: 16.3 A 0.2 cm. The udder is well developed with large conical teats.

Flock structure. The average flock contains 41.5 A 7.4 individuals (range: 10 to 60) of which 0.9 adult males 28.7 adult females and 11.9 young.

Reproduction. In farmers' flocks: kidding percentage: 71.2 A 6.7; litter size: singles: 82.1 A 4.6%; twins: 17.9 A 4.6%.

Mortality. Young: 22.0 A 4.2% (15); adults: 3.6 A 1.2%.

Performance
Milk. Average daily yield: 2.02 A 0.18 kg (16); lactation length: 197.2 A 5.8 days.
Hair. Average annual yield: 245.3 A 3.28.4 g (16).
