Q. How do strain gauge electrical load cells work?
Answer
Strain gauge is a type of electrical load cells. When force is applied on a strain gauge, the wire in it sparks a change in its electrical resistance; the gauge becomes thinner and thicker causing increase and decrease in resistance, respectively. These changes are converted into measure and readable units.
