Furthermore because geographical phenomena vary across time and place geography is a changing subject.The intricate interaction between man and the environment which is the subject of geography can be analyzed and studied scientifically using hypotheses models and theories. The fundamental goal of all modeling is to reduce the complexity of a situation making it easier to conduct investigations. In actuality geography models are instruments that enable the testing of theories. Models can be viewed more narrowly as tools for prediction.
