CODISSIA – The Force Behind The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association popularly known as CODISSIA, is one of the oldest associations for MSME’s in the country with more than 6600 members. RAW MAT INDIA is the only fair in India which is organised by a set of buyers, which makes it special and is the reason for its current iconic status. CODISSIA Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre [ CDIIC] CODISSIA Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre (CDIIC) is a non profit company established by its founding association – CODISSIA It is supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog and Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

It is important to note that the Ministry of Defence, under the IDEX (Innovation for Defence Excellence) scheme, has allotted the nation’s first Defence Innovation Centre to CODISSIA. Through this Defence Innovation Centre, many MSMEs will now involve themselves in the process of defence indigenisation to fulfill the Government initiative ‘’Make in India’’ and start making significant contribution to the Southern Defence Corridor and strengthen the nation’s economy through import substitution This is the basis on which this event is being organised making it the Nation's Prime Resources Expo, and the first of its kind to showcase Raw Materials.
