30% Sulphaquinoxaline Odiums Soluble Powder is a sulfa anticoccidial drug. Its best anticoccidial effect is on the second-generation of coccidium schizont. It also has some effect on the first generation. Its working mechanism is that it competes with PABA dihydrofolic acid synthetase so as to affect the synthesis of dihydrofolate and nucleoprotein thereby inhibiting the synthesis of bacteria and coccidium.
Pharmacokinetics:
Orally administrated this product is immediately absorbed in alimentary canal and blood concentration reaches the peak in 3-4 hours and then the drug is excreted rapidly with urine.
