The filter is completely manufactured in special grade steel, either with nickel- plated Flare threaded connections or with nickel plated Solder connections. Liquid/moisture indicator is manufactured with glass lens directly sealed onto a metallic ring. The moisture/liquid indicators consist of a sensitive element as a ring which changes color passing from blue to grey according to the percentage of moisture in the system. When the sensitive element becomes red, it means its time to replace the filter drier for the proper working of the system. The indication of bubbles on the glass lens means a) Pressure drop across the filter drier too high, b) No sub-cooling, c) Insufficient refrigerant in whole system.
