Uses of Doxycycline Tablets:
Doxycycline tablets are tetracycline antibiotic which fights against bacteria in the body. This drug is used to cure several bacterial infections, like acne, eye infections, intestinal infections, syphilis, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, respiratory infections, chlamydia, periodontitis a gum disease, and many others. Doxycycline tablet is also used to cure the blemishes, bumps, and acne-like lesions which are caused due to rosacea. It will not help in treatment of facial redness caused by rosacea. This antibiotic is helpful in treating only bacterial infections and it may not work for viral infections such as common cold, flu.
