GW8 I Series, HV, AC, Neutral Point disconnector is single pole, single column structure, composed of pedestal, pillar insulator, loop circuit, operated mechanism, etc. Earthing blade is installed beneath the pillar insulator, on the top of which installed the earthing static contact-head. When blade is opening, vertical contact break will be formed between earthing blade and earthing static contact-head which is vertically above the earthing balde. When blade is closing, earthing blade will do left rotary motion in the vertical plane until inserting the static contact-head.
