The graphite mould is used in continuous casting of copper platinum gold silver other non-
ferrous metals steel stainless steel etc. It has good thermal conductivity self-lubricating in
high temperature wear resistance good oxidation resistance and high mechanical strength.
The graphite mould can be divided into horizontal continuous casting mould or vertical cont inuous casting mold. By the cast materials it is divided into: 1. Brass continuous casting graphite mould 2. Red copper continuous casting graphite mould 3. Continuous casting graphite mould for jewelry of gold silver platinum etc.4. Steel and stainless steel continuous casting graphite mould. By the shape of the cast product it is divided into round bar mould hollow tube mould and shaped graphite mould.
