The fuse is composed of a main insulating and conducting structure and an arcing tube. The stationary contacts are fixed at both ends of the fuse tube composed of an arcing tube inside and an phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass tube outside. Equipped with a arcing chamber and elastic auxiliary contacts to interrupt load current and capacitor current the SSOC(NCF)3 fuse is able to switch on/off the load current.
