Physical and chemical properties: Pure product is white odourless solid crystal m.p. 150-152 D420 1.18. It's almost insoluble in water soluble in many organic solvents hardly soluble in ether xylene and kerosene. Unstable in alkaline medium. Light can accelerate its decomposition.
