Liquid Isoprene Rubber

Kuraray Liquid Rubber Kuraray Liquid Rubber (LIR/LBR) is a viscous rubber based on Isoprene/or butadiene which was originally synthesized by Kuraray Co. Ltd. LIR/LBR works as a reactive plasticizer and can replace the natural mineral oil present in rubber reducing oozing and spoiling in the shaping and molding process and also eliminates blooming during product life cycle. LIR/LBR is co-vulcanizable / or co-cross linkable with solid rubbers such as NR SBR BR EPDM using sulfur or peroxide. Some LIR/LBR is cross linkable by reaction of its functional group and are crossl inkable by UV radiation.
