1. Monel K-500
1)Monel K500 is alloy of Nickel and Copper, as a most commonly and widely used Monel material, K-500 has high corrosion resistant property as Monel 400, compared with monel 400, it is added some elements such as Al and Ti. After heat treatment, there is dispersed intermetallic compound.
Structure of Monel K500 is single phase authentic structure and dispersed Ni3(Al,Ti) precipitates. Monel K500 has much better yield strength and tensile strength than Monel400. Higher mechanical properties can be obtained by hardening and cold processing.
Monel K-500 is mainly used in pump shaft, impellers, conveyor scrapers, oil well drilling rings, elastic components, valve pads, all kinds of heat exchange equipment, boiler water feed heaters, oil and chemical pipelines, containers, tower, tank, valves, pump, reactors, shaft etc.
