Surge Generator T-1020(8rlm)

Surge Generator T-1020(8RLM) has been primarily designed to produce high voltage surges for pre-location of under ground cable fault in combination with Reflectometer T-510.
The surges produced help in pinpointing the fault and tracing the route of the cable when used with acoustic DIGIPOINT surge generator generates D.C. high voltage for pressure testing of the underground cables to find out faulty phase and the breakdown voltage with leakage current.
It can also be used as limited burn down instrument.

Suitable for fault location in 440V to 11 KV Cables.
High voltage testing up to 20 KV DC.
Limited Burning Capability.
800 JOULES Energy on 5, 10, 20 KV Range.
Inbuilt Reflectometer T-510 with LAPTOP for taking distance to the fault.
Built in ARC Reflection Filter.
Suitable as thumper required for pinpointing of fault.
Compact small design, light weight.
Suitable to operate on mains (220-230/240 VAC, 45Hz up to 60 Hz) or portable generator.
