All of our dental crucible are made with fused silica ,which is quartz sand fused at 2200 degree with an high purity .Fused silica has many useful physical characteristics which justify its use in the manufature of dental crucibles:
1. Very low thermal expension ,which confers to our crucibles a very good thermal shock resistance.
2. Low sensibility to metallic oxides ,which assure a long term resistance against corrosion by dental alloys.
