Magnetic Field Due To Helmholtz Coil

To measure the magnetic field along the common axis of a double circular coil (Helmholtz Coil). The complete setup should include

Power Supply:- Voltage Range: 0-50 V DC continuously variable Ripple should not begreater than 25 mV Current Range: 0-10 A continuously variable 3 digit LED.


Gauss Meter:- Range should be greater than 100 Gauss Resolution of 0.1 Gauss at 0-200 Gauss Potentiometer should be provided to set zero.


Hall Probe:- Axial Hall Probe should be provided of material In As Probe holder.


Optical Bench:- Hexagonal section Scale: 0-60 cm Least Count: 0.1 cm.


Coil Set:- Coil Diameter: 15-20 cm No. of turns: 390-400 Maximum Current: 1A Material: Copper Base for Helmholtz coils
