Mould Release Spray - 16/11

#16/11 SPRA is a rapid-curing non-silicone solvent-based semi-permanent mold release agent available in aerosol form. It is designed to provide multiple releases without transferring onto the molded part.

APPLICATION:
Prior to application thoroughly clean the mold to remove any waxes oils silicone resins etc. This can be achieved using water scrapers or other suitable methods. Follow this by cleaning the mold using a Mold Cleaner. The mold must be completely cleaned and dried before applying #16/11 SPRA from the aerosol can.
When the mold is dry after cleaning use a fine mist spray pattern to apply a smooth wet (not runny) continuous film over the entire mold surface. Maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm between the aerosol sprout and the mold for proper and uniform spray.
Allow the film to dry and cure for at least 5 minutes at room temperature or 2-3 minutes at 120A C or above.
Apply a total of 3 coats following the above instructions.
Allow the final coat to cure for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Cure is instant at 120A C or above. (Note: Cleaning and application of #16/11 SPRA should be done initially not every time.)
Avoid over-spraying and dripping.
Please note:

Shake well before use.
To control micro porosity use 1 to 2 coats of #TAG DEXSEAL Sealer initially.
The use of #TAG DEXSEAL Sealer will further enhance the results as it forms a permanent base film on the mold.
Re-spray during production as needed allowing the film to dry before resuming production.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store aerosols in a clean dry area at room temperature. Do not store them at temperatures beyond 45A C. Contents are under pressure.
